Hard Times

I've had an awful day and hoped to cheer myself up playing FFXI. Alas, it was not to be.

First PT was a full 6 man team led by a WHM called Temo. We were all choco'd up and off to Garlaige when he announced he had just recieved an invite to a Promyvion run and disbanded the PT. Twat. Over an hour later he was still in Jeuno.

Second PT was led by Brandom. Brandom had tried to blind invite me a few times before finally realising he needed to speak to me first. The PT looked ok on paper, but it was a total mess. Our JP BRD aggro'd a beetle second fight, died, HP'd and disbanded. We did some bats as a 5 man team. Brandom sagely told me i needed to voke more, which was true because he kept getting SATA put onto him as he was stood up our NIN's ass. A SAM/THF turned up called Cebaud. He managed to add to the SATA fuck ups by dropping SA Tachi: Enpi's onto the mob as our THF was lining up the SATA.

Our WHM was some poor Elvaan soul called Valdek who didn't have very good gear or much clue. He was running out of MP every fight. Impressively, we actually did worse with 6 members as we now had two idiots fucking up SATA.

After a few more fights, I had resolved to leave as soon as dedication ran out. But our THF cracked first and announced he had to go to a linkshell meeting. I left at the same time. 1500xp in 50 minutes. Terrific.
