Warrior!

I'm offering no prizes to those who figure out what this post is about.

Yes, the Warrior job, long favoured by myself but rarely levelled. This week has been, to be honest, pretty shite for levelling as far as I'm concerned. These last few days have seen some god awful, disastrous parties, but at low and high levels. First there was that RNG party, then an awful merit party on DRK, and then a fairly short-lived {adventure} as WAR44 in Quicksand caves today.

I was only at 2500tnl, but I barely scraped that before the party disbanded. Twas fairly early in the day though. I thought I might get lucky.

I was right!

My second invite of the day was to a JP party and by god it a) rocked the house, and b) last ages! Lasted long enough, in fact, for me to go from just into 45, well into 47. We outgrew Quicksand Caves in that party, and after a brief haitus, relocated to the basement of Garlaige Citadel. I hadn't been there at 47 before, and was a bit worried, but we stuck to Funnel Bats, avoided beetles, and all was good, until our BLU had to go to work and the JP went to bed. But hey, awesome, long party with good xp. I was about 3k to 48, and I had 3 rather nice pieces of equip waitin for me at 48, so I stuck my flag up again.

Well, I got another invite! I grabbed my Viking Axes and Life Belt and headed back to the basement in Garlaige Citadel to go for another round with the bats and, this time, beetles. The party went through a lot of members actually, but ended up with many of us at 50 and 51. It was that good. XP didn't seem all that fast at times, and I got through the rest of my sole and almost half a stack of bream sushi, but I made about 2000xp into lv.50, so I'm as happy a bunny as I could ever have expected to be.

Much like Saik's party on SAM the other day, today has cheered me up a bit in terms of FFXI gaming.

So anyways, level 50, can start my WAR AF, and I have a shiny new set of threads to run around town and look... well... bulky in!
