What's Dema Doing Now?~

An excellent question. Let's look at the facts.

Firstly, I've been meritting a bit on DRK, mostly with Ansible members.

Pluses: Fun company, decent xp, get to play as my DRK75.
Minues: DRK doesn't get many merit invites otherwise. I've tried to make a few pts recently, and none of them have come to fruition. Lots of tanks LFG at 75, but few mages, just like all the other levels.

Secondly, I've been levelling RNG a bit.

Pluses: Pleasing damage, looks cool in Noct Gear.
Minuses: Slow invites cos everyone believes the job is a useless DD now (which it isn't btw; at least I'm not!)

Thirdly, I've TRIED to party on BLU and WAR.

Minuses: No invites on either job, with a total of about 6 hours combined LFG. There has been no opportunity to make a party either due to lack of mage jobs at comparable levels, which is REALLY annoying me.


So in all, Dema is being a bit pissed off really. None of the jobs I like are getting any invites and the problems seem to be the same at all levels. I seem to be spending a lot of time each day LFG and not a lot of time partying.

Solutions?

Well, I'm thinking of starting to put some money into a craft. I should have done this right from the start of my FFXI career, but I didn't. I don't like the crafting system, and its moneysinkness, but I'm sick of being a pauper all the time. I want decent equipment for the jobs that I like!!

So its a sticky situation for me at the moment.... I seem to have lots of time to fill. I don't want to start another job really, but I may have to, cos I'm not getting invites on the ones I want...

I just don't know....
